T’was the thirteenth day of December
And after our work was done,
Rosy, Gracie, and I played a game,
Long after the setting of the sun.
We pushed our squares in place,
Laughing when we made a mistake.
Tallied our points on a list –
But really playing for fun’s sake.
At last the hour began to grow late,
And the time came to retire for the night.
The game was finished up and put away,
Not even the box was left in sight.
To the KING be all the glory!
Actually, the game wasn’t finished):
We had to stop near the end, because it was a quarter
till ten.
Actually, I meant finished as in “done”, not finished as in “ended”. Does that make sense?
I hope you enjoyed it anyway! I know I did! Next time we’ll have to start earlier! :)
Okay, that makes more sense.
And yes, I did enjoy it.
The game was called Trifusion, and thats my hand.
I know because thats where I was sitting.
That was about 3 years ago Right?
More like a year-and-a-half ago…
And I was 8 or 9. Whew…
You had just turned ten, I believe. :)
